Our first visit to The Wood Fire Trattoria was wonderful. The restaurant wasn't too busy when we arrived about 5:30 pm. We each ordered one of the specials for the evening and drink. The seafood ravioli was some of the best I have had in ages. The sauce creamy and smooth with perfectly cooked scallops and shrimp over the top. The bourbon soaked walleye with rice pilaf was also very good and a nice portion size. We were pleased with both our meals and plan to return again.

This place has just gotten better since we were last there. The melted goat cheese and bread was delicious. Oven roasted salmon very good - so tender and flavorful. Shrimp Alfredo had a wonderful flavor. Definitely coming back.

It’s so awesome having such a nice restaurant so close to home. We don’t have to go to Mishawaka to have a really nice dinner. One of the reasons I love Woodfire is that it’s perfect for a celebratory dinner, or a casual lunch or dinner. The food is 10/10 every time we go. It’s consistently amazing and the chicken Marsala is magical! The desserts are always great and if you want to see the “dessert menu”, they bring out a tray of their actual dessert offerings for the evening. I had the blueberry cobbler cheesecake last night, and it was sooo good. Highly recommend!

My fiance and I were in the area visiting our wedding venue and decided to stop in for dinner. The food and atmosphere were both incredible! We live 2 hours away and are already trying to plan our next trip back.

We had steak and the pasta and everything was excellent. The prime rib special was huge, we all chipped in to eat it. The decor was really cool with a canoe hanging from the ceiling. The service was excellent, very attentive and very fast.
